In less than three weeks it will be a new year, the year 2020, so we wanted to take a look at some of the big colour trends that are looking to hit the wedding scene in the next 12 months.

So if you’re planning a wedding next year, have a look at our list of the hottest colour trends for 2020 weddings.

Blue hues

This one is no surprise.

Last week, Pantone revealed that their 2020 colour of the year is 19-4052 Classic Blue, and as usual weddings certainly seem to be falling in line with this prediction.

From pale cornflower blues, right through to deep navys, blues are set to be a big hit next year!

Have a look at our Indigo Urbane Linen for a really sumptuous table.

Green, green & more green!

And we’re not just talking from an eco-friendly point of view (although that is also big for 2020!)

Green has been becoming more of a focal point at weddings for the last couple of years, with greenery taking centre stage in floral arrangements.

But now it’s set to spread out to more than just the centrepieces.

Mint green, sage green and even deep emerald green, they are popping up everywhere.

The lighter shades are proving to be very popular in bridesmaid fashion, whilst the darker shads are being used for jewellery, stationery and table dressing.

Teal & orange

With Autumn becoming an ever-increasingly popular season for weddings, autumn shades are coming to the fore! Autumnal oranges, reds, browns and mustards are being teamed up with teal for a real colour pop!

Teal on its own has seen a surge in popularity over the last couple of years, and we don’t see it going anywhere any time soon.

Jewel tones

Emerald, ruby, amethyst and sapphire. All beautiful stones, and now beautiful colours to incorporate into your wedding.

Couples are now seen to be opting for these rich, deep hues over the more traditional pastels, in order to create a warm, romantic atmosphere.

Table linens and floral arrangements are where we are most seeing these colours being used. Just add a few candles for a truly cosy feel!

Metallics, glitz & glam

As we head into the year 2020, the glitz and glam of the roaring ’20s is seeing a resurgence.

Champagne saucers, glitzy cutlery and fully beaded dresses are being teamed up with metallics and pearlescents for the perfect, elegant affair.

Take a look at our Cordelia Grace chair, with its pearlescent finish for seating that would match a Hollywood glam event.

Blush pink

This traditional favourite isn’t going anywhere. It will always be thought of as a feminine, romantic colour, soft and serene, and perfect for traditional wedding.
