Nestled in 500 acres, Wakehurst is the most perfect setting for a Sussex wedding.

With a choice of either the 16th Century mansion, with its stunning panelled walls and ornate fireplaces; or the perfectly manicured croquet lawn for a marquee reception; Wakehurst gives you plenty of choices and an abundance of photo opportunities.

Earlier this year we attended the ‘Wakehurst Wedding Showcase’ for a day of wedding splendour, where the 16th Century mansion was dressed, to fill its guests with ideas and inspiration for their big day.

We wanted to share a sneak peek of the event with you, and to show you all that Wakehurst has to offer…The grounds of Wakehurst are simply breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to be joined by photographer Andrew Franklin who captured this beautiful aerial shot of the mansion. Just imagine welcoming your guests to this stunning scene…

We set up for an outdoors ceremony using our folding white chairs and vintage barrels.

Inside, the dining room was decked out with pinks and coppers. We paired our Liza Rose cutlery with our signature napkins in Light Peach, and the cream crossback chairs worked perfectly alongside the wood panelled walls.
