This April we found ourselves assisting at a styled photoshoot at The Balcombe Club & Venue – a new venue to us – and what a place it is! Found in the heart of Balcombe, day-to-day this venue is a family friendly village social club, with a fully licensed bar and kitchen, as well as hosting regular events. However, the club can also be privately hired for any event whether it be a special birthday, a wedding or a charity fundraiser. With seating for up to 165 guests, the Victory Hall is a beautiful back drop for a special function. Read on to go ‘on location’ with us at this hidden gem.

Wedding Set Up

Firstly, we set up the Victory Hall for a wedding. We offset the dark tones of the wood panelled walls with light and airy linens including our Wedgewood napkins.

The tables featured gorgeous florals by Emily’s Roses and were finished off with our luxury hand painted Cordelia Grace chair for that extra touch of elegance.

We were joined on the day by the very talented Stephen Johnson Photography.

Afternoon Tea Setup

We then spent the later part of the day creating an afternoon tea set up, which this venue lends itself to entirely.

For a bit of vintage charm we used our Vintage Wavy china, teamed up with grape coloured water glasses, again finished beautifully with florals from Emily’s Roses and our tiered cake plates.

Signature Violet napkins were then folded into Roses and place inside our vintage Wavy teacups.

This venue is an absolute charm for the village of Balcombe and we can’t wait to be back for more of their events. If you would are looking for furniture and tableware hire for your next event take a look at our products or contact our team for some more advice.
