Over the years, some of the most important projects we have taken part in are styled shoots… Not only do they give us a chance to experiment with new products and fashions, but they are key part of our networking with other industry professionals and collaborating to make something truly special. Having done so many over the years we thought we would put together a collections of some of our favourite styled shoots (how trends have changed over the years!). So read on for a real feast for the eyes!
Navy Simplicity – Amber Lakes (2018)
Amber Lakes, set between Heathrow Airport and Windsor is a stunning nature reserve with 120 acres of fishing lakes set around Amber Lodge, a Scandinavian lodge inspired events venue. For this shoot, we wanted to go simple and elegant, so a navy and grey colour scheme was chosen, teamed with our loop back chairs to mirror the natural wood used inside this venue.

Arabian Tents – House of Hud (2018)
This was the year that white-wash was everywhere. Whereas now we are seeing a tendency towards natural wood finishes, there was a period of time where white-wash was very popular. For this marquee set up from House of Hud we teamed our white wash trestle tables up with our lime wash Chiavari chairs, which were finished with chair draping. The foliage abundant tables were laid up with simplicity plates and our silver Liza cutlery. At the time, even our barrels were white-washed!

Rustic Purple – Cissbury Barns (2018)
One of the wonderful things about styled shoots is the chance to showcase some of the less-commonly chosen colours. Here we were thrilled at the opportunity to show off our Purple Signature napkins at Cissbury Barns, which show up beautifully against a rustic wooden backdrop. Our vintage trestle tables were partnered with rustic benches for an elegant, but rustic look.

Feasting Tables – Chamberlains, Leadenhall Market (2018)
This shoot was all about colour… Long trestle tables were laid up in a long line down the middle of this gorgeous indoor market and our coloured stoneware plates got their debut! To add a drop more colour, Burgundy and Peach napkins were alternated down the tables and tall flowers arrangements were placed along the middle. We thought this styled shoot just screamed ‘fun family party’!

Winter Luxury – Ravenswood (2018)
In the heart of the Ashdown Forest in Mid Sussex, you will find The Ravenswood. This warm, countryside hotel is the perfect backdrop for a cosy, romantic, winter wedding, so that’s exactly what we did. With rich green tones and lots of wood we went for an almost ‘hunting lodge’ theme with this gorgeous styled shoot.

Seaside Dreams – Felpham Beach (2019)
We have all heard of wedding ceremonies on the beach, but what about dining there as well! Tables were set up on the waters edge featuring wistful pinks and blues to create this dreamy set up. Just imagine on a hot summers day, dining with the wind in your hair and the waves lapping at your feet!

The Christening – Private Garden (2019)
It’s not just weddings that we do styled shoots for, we love to experiment with all sorts of events. Which is why we got involved with a boys Christenings in a private garden. A simple set up showcasing a clear marquee, with subtle blue tones and an incredible balloon installation from Airmagination.

Inky Tones – Brighton Harbour Hotel (2019)
Set right on the seafront, Brighton Harbour Hotel is a stunningly simple blank canvas for whatever theme you want to create inside. We loved putting together this inky toned Indigo set up featuring our luxurious Urbane linen range of tablecloths and napkins. Clear glass beaded chargers and Vinoteque crystal glassware added the perfect ‘twinkle’, and the copper lanterns and planetary table names added a celestial essence.

Autumn Vibes – Dower House (2019)
This deep, rich autumnal shoot was put together to showcase a new venue (not yet open to the public). A wonderful group of suppliers came together to create this warm, rustic, feasting table set up, perfect for small intimate parties in a rural barn. Luxurious linens were teamed up with an array of autumnal flowers and an abundance of candles, finished with a feasting box from The Garden Chef for the guests to enjoy.

Exotic Elegance – Deco Noir (2020)
What a different shoot this one was. The very talented Deco Noir wanted to put together a shoot to showcase their ‘Raj Tent’, and so this elegant exotic styled shoot was born, featuring our dark wood trestle tables and loop back chairs. Colour was used everywhere… Deep red seat pads, coloured stoneware plates and copper cutlery were used and the tables were adorned with Pineapples and Pomegranates to really take you out of England!

Traditional Elegance – Balcombe Place (2020)
2020 brought with it a few new challenges for the events industry, and wedding industry professionals were inspired to prove that small can still mean beautiful. This intimate wedding shoot was put together to showcase how a wedding for 15 could look at the beautiful Balcombe Place. Traditional tones of red, white and dusky pink were put together to create this wonderfully intimate wedding ceremony and dining table.

Hollywood Romance – Pelham House (2020)
What a wonderful way this was to end the year. A full on, Hollywood inspired, romantic winter wedding, complete with snow machine! The colour scheme was kept simple… White, green and crystal, with candles everywhere to enhance the ‘sparkle’. Not forgetting the all-important backdrop of the Christmas Tree.
