Right on the Brighton seafront you’ll find this beautiful 19th Century Regency period building. Recently restored, the Brighton Harbour Hotel combines the best of it’s Regency features with a quirky modern twist. With two main rooms available for private hire, along with a separate bar the hotel is the perfect setting for seaside wedding ceremonies, breakfasts and receptions with up to 160 guests.

We were recently invited to join some of the top local suppliers in putting together a styled shoot to really show off what this venue has to offer. Read on to see what we got up to and to have a peek at the day captured beautifully by Sarah Wenban Photography.

Before beginning on the wedding breakfast setups, we set out the room for a mid-sized wedding ceremony in natural browns and Indigo, featuring our rustic loop back chairs with a beautifully natural foliage wall hanging from Tony Dunn Flowers.

Moving on to the wedding breakfast, we wanted to dress the main room in three contrasting styles, to show what a blank canvas the venue is… Ideal for whatever theme you choose.

Spring Multi-Colour

We started with a spring time multi colour set up, featuring multi coloured linens, our cream cross-back chairs and an array of beautiful spring flowers from Tony Dunn Flowers, which was all brought together by the gorgeous balloon backdrop structure supplied by the very talented Airmagination Balloon Company.

Sumptuous Space in Indigo

Next we went for a deep and luxurious indigo theme. Using our Urbane linen range, with it’s beautiful drop, we paired Indigo tablecloths with matching Indigo napkins for the simple but elegant theme, laid out with clear glass beaded chargers and our Vinoteque crystal glass range for a sparkling finish.  The whole look was finished with simple green foliage and gorgeous planetary themed table names from The Wedding Print Shop.

Intimate Seaside Wedding

We also wanted to show what this room could look like for a small intimate wedding, and what better theme to end on than a seaside one. Blue, Red and White were the colours for this trestle table set up, all framed with some traditional beach style bunting.
For favours we laid each place setting with a stick of Brighton rock, tied up with twine and seaside name tags from The Wedding Print Shop to help guests find their seat.

The Snug

The hotel has another beautiful little room to offer, just off the main bar… The snug. This is a cosy room, big enough for a party of 20 to dine… So perfect for either a private dining experience or an intimate wedding.

We set up this room with trestle tables and our loop back chairs for a touch of ‘rustic elegance’, and made the room extra cosy and romantic with Indigo napkins, glass chargers, our crystal glassware and gorgeous foliage and copper lanterns provided by Tony Dunn Flowers.

Overall, we LOVE working at this venue. It’s such a blank canvas and we really enjoy seeing how couples dress it up to make it their own.
