Scratching your head for different Easter table ideas for your networking brunch, Good Friday afternoon tea, or Easter Sunday roast? The good news is it doesn’t have to be all bunnies, chick, eggs and lambs (although there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being trad and twee if that’s how you roll).

But, what if you want to break away the bunny-themed napkins, crack open the pastel colour palette, and make your Easter table/s egg-stra special?

The Co-Ordination team knows a thing or two about setting the scene. Here’s our top Easter table ideas for styling a spring-filled corporate celebration, managing a private party, or simply hosting at home.

Start with a Theme (Not All Easter Table Ideas Have to Include Bunnies)

First, narrow down the Easter table ideas that complement your venue or home.

Not a fan of full-on florals or novelty chicks? No problem.

Thankfully, Easter tablescaping doesn’t have to be unashamedly cutesy poo. Alternatively, it can be:

  • Rustic bliss – John Lewis’s Senior Editor lucy Scott gives linen some love in her Create the ultimate spring tablescape article. “Opt for a linen tablecloth as a base,” she advises, “any wrinkles are part of the charm.” She has a point. Natural linen Urbane table cloths, strewn with wildflowers that look like they’ve been freshly scooped off the forest floor, combine to create a charming countryside aesthetic.

Layer Up the Luxe

If your Easter table ideas don’t include layers, why not? After all, decorative layering adds texture and interest to your Easter table. And the good news is it’s surprisingly easy to pull off:

  • Plates + glassware – Mix dinner and side plates with frosted or translucent glass charger plates in blue, mint green or rose pink for depth. Add glassware for water, wine, and that cheeky Mimosa.
  • Napkins + nature – Carefully fold your linen napkins, tie them with twine, and tuck in a sprig of rosemary for a natural, herbaceous touch.

Bring the “Oohs” and “Aahs” with Your Finishing Touches

No Easter table ideas are complete without attention-grabbing details. But remember, they need to be low enough for guests to chat across, but bold enough to start conversations.

Popular spring-ready décor ideas include:

  • A basket of painted eggs nestled in moss or greenery
  • Jugs or vases filled with fresh seasonal flowers like golden daffodils, majestic irises, and bursting tulips
  • Coloured candles in glass tea light holders, surrounded by mini chocolate eggs (just don’t expect them to stay put for long!)
  • Easter-themed favours like mini hot cross buns, bunny-shaped biscuits, or seed packets for an eco-conscious edge
